‘I am’ is a coffee table book in the making. The artist started taking self portraits during the Covid-19 pandemic, on 11m2, in attempt to challenge herself as well as the spectator, as these images all have a strong message, whether social, political, economical, philosophical and/or spiritual, and are intended as food for thought. They became her most liked posts on Instagram and opened conversation between her and her followers on a deeper level, which, in a world where ‘outside’ was not what it used to be, was a very welcome result.
